In Peru

The activities of The Movement of the Word of God began in Lima in May 2003 with a day of Encounter in the Word made in a parish. At present a Pastoral Center is being developed; it is made up of six groups. Community Process for Confirmation services are provided in two parishes.

In 2007 a consecrated community of Feminine Nazaret settled down.

   

Also in Huancayo two groups develop and the service of the CPC is provided in a parish. In Easter Retreat 2013 of Lima 109 brothers and sisters participated. And in Huancayo 62 people participated.

We adhere to the objectives of the bishops of Peru to the Great Continental Mission:

• Promote a deep personal and pastoral conversion to start afresh from Christ a new life in the Spirit;

• Develop a comprehensive, ongoing kerygmatic training that stimulates the build up of missionary communities;

• Encourage communities, organizations, associations and ecclesial movements to become put into a state of permanent mission, to reach the most remote areas of the Church, the indifferent and unbelievers;

• Accompanying the dioceses in the development of the itinerary of the Mission.
